Right from that opening scene in the trailer where they just produce machine guns at a Nazi reception, hide behind an overturned table and spray the room with gunfire it's like a comic strip version of an old WW2 propaganda film - before it turns in Mr and Mrs Smith Go To War with the big, very, very silly twist. It looks like this is written by the Steven Knight who wrote The Seventh Son rather than the Steven Knight who wrote Peaky Blinders and Eastern Promises.
I wouldn't be surprised if Brad Pitt has a scene like this in it:
or a torture scene like this:
The plot certainly sounds a bit like this:
"Security - release the badgers." -

Current box office pro long range forecast (for what they are worth)
Kidnap : $7,000,000 OW / 19 dbo
Allied : 14,000,000 OW / 68 dbo
They are predicting good leg and a low second weekend drop for allied, according to those predictions it should be really close.
I'll go with Allied opening around 15, with a second weekend above 7 and beating Kidnap opening.
