sheetsadam posted about ghost elephants and it looked awesome. directed by herzog. but it was not awesome. it was pretty lame. it was barely about elephants actually and they spent 90% of the documentary saying things like "i wonder if we'll ever find one" and that's it

There was just so much hype that by the time it got to the theaters I was underwhelmed.
If it made you cry, I'm happy for you!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Exactly.
I was in my late 20s around the time it came out.
There was another movie that came out around the same time… Poltergeist. I enjoyed that very much.
"Poor Carol Anne! There wasn't a dry eye in th3 theater that day."

Your pfp is very much how I looked when I watched my schizophrenic pal snog his mother — it's the head tilt. Then he said to me the next day, that he had done that because he wanted to such her "soul" from her body. What a guy!

Don’t make fun of me but the Hannah Montana 20 year anniversary special was not what I wanted. There was no Lily or Oliver and made no sense the people there who were interviewed. They weren’t even on the show

I wouldn't say it sucked. It was still enjoyable, but it was still disappointing seeing Freddy Vs. Jason after waiting since childhood for it to be made. It had too much of that 00's style and didn't have Kane Hodder as Jason.

I liked John Carter. Wasn't nearly the disaster I expected.
The Tree of Life (2011) has such a compelling trailer but the film itself is not all that interesting, even if visually it has some magnificent moments
