Usually if I'm not into it within 20-30 minutes, I turn it off.

Star Wars
is one. I've caught portions here and there but I've never had the patience to watch it all the way through from beginning to end.

That's one I never saw… I remember going to some friends house when I was a boy, and he kept telling us, "You gotta see this!" <rewinds the VHS> "Luke falls on his nuts!"
I know someone who loves Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, but I've never had any inclination to watch them. I have thousands of movies on my watch-list, but they ain't one em!

I'm an avid
Star Trek
fan. But
Star Wars
never interested me. I don't think the
Star Wars
franchise ever tried to seriously create interesting aliens and alien civilizations. It was all hype based to appeal to action film fans. Now
Star Trek
, they put imagination into their aliens and their alien cultures.
I read all of Tolkien as a child and loved it. The films were fine but I still prefer the books. Harry Potter doesn't interest me.

I watched Star Trek 6 recently and got to just about the end when Kirk started making a big inspirational speech about galactic peace and the "undiscovered country" and shut it off. Sometimes I can't deal with that kind of crap.

The butler's confession in
Spider-Man 3
was such a "you've gotta be ****ing kidding" moment for me that it caused me to walk out of the theater.
For nine years, it was the dumbest moment I had ever seen in a superhero movie.
