I was very shocked by Robin Williams' passing : I just could not believe it, he was still so young! Lauren Bacall was much older but I had always felt she would be immortal in some way. Some stars that are almost or over 100 years old are still around. And she seemed like such a tough, youthful person.
I do, do hope Olivia de Havilland, Maureen O'Hara and Luise Rainer and the others are here to stay. The list's getting so much shorter since last year!
RIP Williams and Bacall, two legends in their own ways.

Sleep softly, Lauren.
R.i.p. Robin.
Ed Nelson has also died, just a few days ago. He got famous as Dr. Rossi in Peyton Place, the series that also brought fame to Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal.

He may have died on 7/19 but I say James Garner, Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall. Close enough for me.
I don't know who Marilyn Burns is. Oh yeah..Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I don't know what else she did.
I had the chance to work with Michael Jackson who was as brilliant as they come.

I wonder if James Garner counts. His tribute of movies was playing on TCM when Robin Williams killed himself.
