Thank you for that reminder. I know there are many fans of both men who are very grateful for that. I know more about Mr Van Dyke, but thank you for reminding us of both.
(And to the previous post, of course Elizabeth Taylor was not "the last"! Do you watch films from before 1960??)

One of them, absolutely. It is past my bed time but I hope to spend tomorrow in my library, thinking about who is still here from the Golden, magical days of Hollywood. It was wonderful to get to have Betty for such a long time. She was quite fabulous and a great sport. Just a hideous, shocking week for we who love film actors in the US.
No resting in peace - go enjoy seeing everyone again. Tell Kate hi from her namesakes.
