Not that she is old, her face looks weired.

At least B.B. stayed natural. Look at Dunaway and Loren and see what means 'aging badly'. Superartificially.
      Viva Bardot!

And she had the smarts to not only retire from acting before she turned 40but to STAY retired and not try some foolish, pathetic comeback.
The comments form the OP about her looks being "weired" after she retired from the spotlight are made about her as a real person who decided to age normally (and gracefully) without trying bizarre attempts to hang onto her youth. He should be ashamed of himself.
I'm really sick of paying MORE for stuffand getting LESS of it!

In your lifetime? You're 19, if that?

Why should someone retire from acting just because they turn 40? There are plenty of roles for actors and actresses who are over 40 years old.. and lots of older, successful actresses Look at Meryl Streep, Diane Keaton and Helen Mirren.
I thought the OP's post seemed sexist, but your post seems equally sexist, Sandoz.

i think it was a smart move to retire while young for the the fact that she banked on her looks 90% of the time, she was never much of an actress, I think she'd be the first to say that. and that goes for marylin Monroe too, although she died but I would be afraid to see what marylin would have done to herself. she didn't strike me as the kinda woman who would want to look old when shes old.
that said, Bardot certainly has aged poorly. yes Im aware we all get old but that's the thing about these people who were always known for the beauty. beauty fades, and apparently it fades much worse for some. one of the many reasons I wouldn't want to be a celebrity, especially a woman. when you lose your looks, they drop you like a sack of potatoes.
Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

Did your grandmother look that great when she was 75? Just wondering.

Never fails. There's always some [ idiot ] out there who can't wait to make a shallow, ignorant, sexist comment. Surely, you can't be more than about 25.
By the way, when you get a chance, think about investing in a dictionary and book on English grammar.

Brigitte will always be beautiful. "In the eyes of the beholder" If you want to see her as she was at 18, go watch her films. Look at her now as a beautiful woman as she is today.

I think all this stuff about her ageing badly is exaggerated.
As this video shows, she kept her looks for a long time:
                            YOU SHOULDN'T BE EATING SAUSAGES!!

Brigitte Bardot is 82 years old. What would really be "weired" is if she still looked 32. She may not still be a sex symbol, but I certainly admire her for telling it honestly about the muslim scum invading Europe and for being against animal abusers.
