The only ones I really have seen are "Paths of Glory" and "Spartacus". both real classics.
"Spartacus" was easy to love, but POG took a long time for me to watch. Kirk is really
lucky to have been in two such classic great movies, and he was so great in them.

I love the movies not the actors.
My problem with movies like the Viking and some of the Westerns
is that back in the 60's the historical movies were just really bad
jokes. They were like people playing dressup. Today is a little
better, like the new Vikings series was not bad, though a little violent,
but at least it looks real and is a bit more informed by history.

I watched Young Man With A Horn (1950)last night and was totally blown away by Kirk's performance. It's a must see!!! Supposedly a film based on the life of Bix Beiderbecke, the musician and composer.

I agree, Young Man With A Horn is an amazing movie. A bit depressing at times, but still wonderful.
