not knowing your situation, i'd say a good goal to have is to become as independent as possible from a system that forces you to work with assholes and to deal with assholes.
they teach you the opposite in the school and in the media. and the more of that you consume, the further behind you'll be.
luckily, i am a bit of a rebel.
