Also great Margo, it's a shame she wasn't in The Apartment with Jack Lemon - I think that would have been an even greater hit with her in it
She was too famous by then though and so I can see why she wasn't. Shame though, another great movie from that era.

That's right! She was considered for the role that Shirley McClain had, wasn't she? I seem to remember hearing that.

She was considered but turned it down immediately, I think Shirley did a brilliant job but that old Some Like It Hot magic would have worked very well I reckon.
Both awesome movies and excellent actresses of the time, but a boy can dream can't he?

Side note… I was told for years that I resemble her. I suppose did when I was younger. You had to squint.

Seriously - that stuff I don't know how to deal with!
I know 50 Shades of Grey and all of that was a popular thingumybob but it's just not my scene (And I doubt anyone else here even knows how to handle a woman and so not theirs either).
I'm more of a jammies and cheese and crackers kinda guy, decent bottle of wine and let's get a good (Or bad) movie on
