I don't know about you guys, but Pierce has been underrated ever since after GoldenEye either his talents was underused or his works (especially those after Bond) just don't get the recognition they deserve or even both. Yes, he does have really great one along the way, such as The Thomas Crown Affair, Evelyn, The Matador, and The Ghost Writer, but they don't get much notice.

True, man.
Probably Pierce Brosnan wasn't too focused in his acting career. He feels like the good guy who works once in a while and usually only the workaholics are the biggest stars in Hollywood.
I just saw THE NOVEMBER MAN and Pierce Brosnan was great in this. Pierce Brosnan is one of THE MOST UNDERRATED Actors Worldwide.
I want for the future of Pierce Brosnan:
1.- THOMAS CROWN II(3D). Director: John McTiernan. Stars: Pierce Brosnan with Eva Green.
2.- Pierce Brosnan as THE MAIN VILLAIN in Some BLOCKBUSTER like MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 6 or JAMES BOND 25 or 26.
3.- Pierce Brosnan in a SUPPORTING Role in a MARVEL or DC FILM.
SIR RIDLEY SCOTT, EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS(3D), BLADE RUNNER II(3D), EMMA WATSON, etc -

I wouldn't say he wasn't too focus in his acting career. He's busy as always, but I think his talents do not get much notice, thus explaining why his works after GoldenEye either get not-so-good reviews or went under radar.

I think it's the movies he chooses. He goes for those that pay well, of course, but also seem fun to make, are different for him, sometimes expands his boundaries. He doesn't go for the blockbusters, which I'm sure he has been offered. Or maybe he just makes the wrong choices, if he is going for the big blockbuster money.
I love all the movies I've seen with him in it. Laws of Attraction, The Matador, Mama Mia, and many others. All WONDERFUL movies.
I do think he is underrated. Maybe he'll end up being in a blockbuster one of these days. He's mega-wealthy, I'm sure. But it'd be nice for him to make just a TON of money, which he deserves. I think he underrates himself, as well. After seeing him in interviews and reading about his childhood, I don't think he realizes just how great and valuable he is.
