My BS meter goes off every time I see him and hear him talk. He just comes across as fake in every way.

He's probably one of the more real actors around these days. You should read about his childhood and watch him in a couple of real interviews (not late night tv funny interviews). He's the real deal who IMO doesn't realize his value.
He's a very nice man who married once, stayed married, and nursed his wife through cancer and her death. He was devoted. He's real. -

No, no I don't deny that he loved his wife and I'm not referring to his personal life (I wouldn't begrudge the guy for going through a tragedy like that!), but there's just something about him. He did SNL once and just seemed really douchey, and I saw a vide of him on a TMZ-like show from years and years ago where he showed more of this side.
Doesn't matter; so many people like him. I doubt he cares about my opinion! -

You are wrong about him. My cousin saw him once in Southern California when he was buying fish from a local market and she was too nervous to talk to him so her friends told Pierce that my cousin was a huge fan of his and asked him nicely to take a picture with her, he asked them to give him a few minutes to buy his fish first.
He came back and took a picture and thanked my cousin for her support. She said he was very kind to her.
Read about his charity work and his upbringing. He's a good person.
And this is coming from someone who prefers Dalton and Connery to him as Bond.
