I definitely found him strange looking until I saw him in Boardwalk Empire. All the roles I saw him in before that portrayed him as a low-life or bum and he usually looked the part. In Boardwalk he looks like an average guy.

I never found him to be that ugly in his youth2000. I always looked at him and wondered what exactly is SO ugly ? He has big eyes ok. Not the first time I've seen that . And he has crooked teeth That's nothing new He's acknowledged them and says he won't fix them because it's been a big part of his success in getting roles .. I never found him that ugly
But .. I don't think he's aged very well . Out of nowhere it seemed like he aged a lot . More wrinkles, whiter looking etc I don't find him ugly .. He's just not as good looking as before . He's aged a lot -

I wondered why he doesn't get his teeth fixed not Hollywood perfect because that would really look weird and out of place on him but maybe get them straightened at least.
I think he looks like any average guy you might see on the street but I don't find him exceptionally appealing. He looks so different in some photos but that is pretty normal depending on lighting, camera angle, etc. There are many photos of him where he looks very good.
I rarely think of anyone as being ugly on the outside because I am not that attractive myself so I don't judge based on outward appearances. I tend to take in the complete person from the inside and how they behave and treat others when deciding if I think they are ugly or not. I have known many people who are considered physically very attractive that I find ugly because of their personality and the way they treat others. By the same token I have known people I find beautiful based on their inner self that others call ugly because of their outward appearance.
I have tremendous respect for him because he stays down to earth. I read he was a firefighter for four years and returned after 9/11 to help with looking for survivors and helping his old company. That is something that I don't remember being reported for many years and speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. That act alone makes him a beautiful person in my eyes. -

yep this is just what i wrote about in a message he aged horribly i mean in 2019 in the dead don't die he looks at least 70 years old and he was only 61 then. i'm talking painfully ugly to look at and decrepit looking. sad.
now granted before i saw him in this i hadn't seen him in anything new since maybe mr. deeds but still a man shouldn't look 70 at 61.

I'm in my 40s and always found him attractive, ever since Fargo. Got a raucous chuckle o/o the gal in the movie, who called him "funny looking" Which indeed he isn't. Steve has an unusual attractive, second-man look about him. Makes him oddly sexually and romantically appealing, as a man and an actor. His eyes indeed are his trademark. But so are his gorgeous puffy lips. If I were costarring in a film with him, I'd want to do a romantic scene.

I'm in my early 20s and I find him really attractive, especially in Boadwalk Empire and Ghost World. Whenever I see an online discussion or article about weird crushes he always comes up at least a few times, so at least we aren5b4't alone.

of course you don't find him attractive anymore bc he is god awful old now. i mean in the dead dont die which was made a few years ago he looks so old and decrepit, like 70 years old old. it was amazing and shocking to me how old he looked bc i hadn't seen him in so many years in anything new when i saw him in this movie.
