      it's like Gene Hackman leaving us with Welcome to Mooseport. although at least we can SEE him in that movie. there's no sign of John's style anywhere in The Ward.

        I agree. That is not the movie for a legend like Carpenter to go out on.

          I don't think John Carpenter wants to do another film. He's more interested in music and recording albums at this point in his life and career.
          You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
