In an interview, she was asked if she was ever embarrassed to watch any of her older films: I dont do it. Theyre all really difficult. I thought, not too long ago, Okay, what could I watch with a friend? Or with [husband] Paul [Bettany], for example. I thought, maybe, something like Phenomena, because I was thirteen, and its a horror film. Paul, early in our relationship, really wanted to see it. But I couldnt. Was also the reaction of my friends when I tried to get them to watch Phenomena with me.
I totally get where she's coming from though, lucky for me I'm not a celebrity so I was able to go to youtube and delete all the videos made when I was a teenager. -

She should be more proud of PHENOMENA, it 's a good film with stunning imagery and it's one of her best characters and performances with WAKING THE DEAD and HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG.
