As a teen in the 80s I watched every WC movie that came out without hesitation. As a fan of the horror genre it was a must. But now when I look at his body of work it really is mediocre at best.

7.0 # Scream (1996/I) shame this is one of his better movies

Agreed on most, though i'd give Swamp Thing a 7/10, Music Of The Heart a 5/10(Streep was good, but the rest of the film stunk), Red Eye a 6/10(first half was rather weak and there were one too many plot holes) and New Nightmare a 7/10, as it was my least favorite of the series, the whole meta angle just didn't do a whole lot for me, though the finale made up for it.
