Aww, That's sad to hear. Even more when I was watching the Scream films today, and the extras where he talks about the films and horror.
May he R.I.P. Always sad to hear of someone passing.

That's exactly what I said when my brother told me: "that sucks". He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. A great loss to the horror genre. RIP, Wes, you will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends and to fellow fans.

Well it was inevitable. Just why it had to be right now. Why couldn't it be when Wes is 100 or more?

NOES was my favorite horror film, and I loved many of his other works. Sleep well, Mr. Craven.

This is the most saddest thing ever, in fact I don't even know that he has brain cancer! Either way, it's very sad and such a horrible news.
                        RIP Mr. Craven. 😞

There was only one other death that saddened me this year as much as when I heard of Wes passing, and that was Leonard Nimoy's. I wanted to repost Nimoy's final Twitter, (with my own small edit), because I think it also fits for Wes:
"A life is like a garden. Perfect Mb68oments, (or Nightmares), can be had, but not preserved, except in memory."
RIP Wes, my fellow Clevelander. A true master with a deft touch who could bring such joy and pleasure to so many by playing on our deepest collective fears
Remember, Tuesday is Soylent Green Day.

Wes, thanks for the thrills, even if it meant an occasional sleepless night. Hes now having a few laughs with Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi about all the people they scared the sh!t out of. RIP.

This is so sad and such a shock. I've been watching his films for most of my life. So many late nights with friends (or on my own), in a dark room watching his films over and over.
I think this calls for a Scream marathon tonight.
RIP Wes, thanks for all the wonderful moments.
