Is it wrong for me to want to avoid people that suffer from PTSD??

They seem really creepy and volatile. There's a guy that told me he has PTSD and then he like talked a whole bunch about PTSD and all these new innovative procedures to treat the disorder.
And I was creeped out cuz it felt like too much information to dump so soon. Was he seeking sympathy? I don't understand why he picked me?? Why me?? I don't have PTSD. Thank God.
