All those drugs and booze really made him ugly.

Oof. By the looks of it, he evidently went through hard times.
If I ever get a chance to meet him, I'd give him a long, beary hug. He went through so much.

Then you don't know much about him. And no, I'm not going to explain to your pea brain. Google about him yourself.

Oh hells yeah!
Which reminds me, I need to hang the print of his that I purchased in July across from my bed so he's the first thing I see when I wake up! I got the print
FIVE
. I showed you a picture, right? I know I sent a picture to Patrick of the print and the certificate.

It's a very large, limited-edition print, and to be fair, I'll probably also frame the certification which numbers the edition. Because of its size, I need a large wall on which to hang it, so the wall
directly
opposite my bed (so when I wake up, the wall at which I will directly face) is a perfect size, and there will still be room to spare). I
could
hang it on other walls
or
in other rooms, but let's be real, this was painted
BY
Johnny Depp and it's
OF
Johnny Depp's gorgeous face, so what better place than where I can stare at it endlessly than in the master bedroom?

Yes. He painted the original himself, and, well, you'd have to look up why he titled it FIVE and what he put into the painting, and how and why it took so long, and what this self-portrait represents.
Depp painted this from the Dior advertisement, and he chose it because Dior stood behind him and backed him the entire way while he was going through the Amber Heard ordeal. While Johnny Depp has original paintings for sale, the costs are in the millions of dollars, so there's no way I could afford that! But on July 20th, he offered a limited edition of this print for around 10-14 days from a gallery in London, and I was waiting and waiting for them to go on sale. I waited so that I could be there when they went on sale, and I placed my order immediately! There are only about 2,000 prints worldwide, and
unlike
his other works,
this original is not for sale
, and there will
no longer be any other prints made available
, so this is a very rare piece! You can tell from the video just how large it is. The certificate that came with it tells me what number of the roughly 2,000 that were
sold globally
that I have. I have it secured in an envelope and in my cabinet, and the print is in a double cardboard box and in a velvet bag, all to protect the print, which is textured and created on stretched canvas over wood. It's large and heavy. It's also signed by Depp, as is the numbered certificate. Because of the size and weight, I also have to make sure that I find the beams and be judicial in where and how I hang this up.
I'm just swooning over the fact that Depp himself touched my print to sign it and signed the certificate. Just touching it makes me do
whoopdee-loops
in my head!

He has talents! I'm loving those arts and I'd love to have a chance to get one for myself if he plans to give out more of his paintings but it appears they're limited edition so I already missed the windows for some of them. I'm looking at his website:

It's a shame they're limited edition as some of them are freaking cool. Currently, he's selling tarot cards art at price for several thousands per one and I'd love to afford one.
Best I can do is to admire his art.

That's where I got it from, Castle Fine Arts. I knew in advance when it was going to be released, so I waited for the day to stay up and wait for that moment because I knew it was going to be a one-time limited edition, and if I missed that window, I'd never get the opportunity again. Some of his other work is always available, but I knew this was one shot. I also appreciate what this represents, so there's that. It's such a beautiful piece of art.
I haven't visited their site since I got the print, but I'll check them out again, especially if Depp's work is available.

The original reference for the art is a still from a shoot for Dior’s ‘Sauvage’, directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. Johnny chose this particular image in honour of Dior and the loyalty they’ve always shown him. To Johnny, the image symbolizes the importance of truth and the steadfast support of those who remain close to you during challenging times.
This^^ is why getting that artwork meant so much to me. That, and well, you know, Johnny Depp! He's simply marvelous.
