from wikipedia article on s. hayek personal life section. so, i guess because he's rich and she got herself pregnant by him, as did linda evangelista around the same time (2011 4 year old son = 2007 hook-up near same time as their engagement.) hayek claims mexican american heritage, but derives from lebanese ancestry and her parents are apparently well-off. so jerry mcguire ultimately explains this 'strange may-december romance' IMHO

anyone who calls her, or most people for that matter, 'ugly' clearly ain't looking at the big picture as when you look at ALL people from the top to the bottom most people are definitely not ugly as it's only once in a while i see someone and think, 'damn, that's ugly!'.
so anyone saying that about Hayek i would not take them seriously.My Vote History

I used to work with a guy who, when I mentioned Salma Hayek, he said she's kind of old. That's when she was 34! He obviously isn't very bright. He was the kind of guy who would call a woman old if she was over 21.

Was. Used to be quite sexy, beautiful no but very hot. She looked very anorexic, and unrecognizable at the Globes the other day. If it wasn't for the voice I'd have never known it was her. Had a horrible hair do too. Guess her stance on anorexia was a myth.
Nothing is as it seems so I wouldn't judge by what you think you see.
