I completely agree! National Television is not a place to start bashing. You're supposed to be there to promote a tv show, a movie, your work, not your personal life. Sure I've watched people expose their personal lives but this involves a child. It's wrong. And while I'm happy that a woman claimed to be paying alimony (it's usually men, which is a shame) and that it is indeed hard, etc. But I'm pretty sure the guy doesn't claim all of her checks and lives off them, not everyone is like that (perhaps he uses it solely for his son? My mom did it when she'd receive alimony and she supported herself while I was covered) You could say "Divorce is difficult, I'm not loving my ex husband very much right now, I'm trying to be the best mum I can" I dunno, it just came off as sleazy and easy to knock him while he was down. He doesn't have the opportunity to defend himself on national tv!
I think she was looking for a topic of interest for entertainment purposes while she's a celebrity (if you want to call it that) that's slowly fading like many others. I feel bad for their son Homer. -

She's so nuts that she didn't realize that everyone watching that would interpret it as her having said that she has no desire to spend so much as a hot second watching her 7 year old kid playing soccer. And, moreover, she'd be perceived as having made fun of 7 year olds for not being proficient athletes yet. Wow, she is one batty b*&tch.
