    This man is one of the greatest writers of the 20th century and yet good or bad most of his movie adaptations are B-movie quality. Now I am no studio exec but there is a lot of money to be made on these stories if theyre actually done right. Its a shame to see great stories told through poor quality. Darabont aside, not many directors like to take it on to the tee and it really bugs me.

      I think you are right but there is so MUCH in his books. The Stand was very close and that was 4 VHS tapes (Very long time ago)

        The adaptations that he was involved in writing are generally B-grade quality ones.
        The guy is a great author but he just cannot write a great screenplay. They're all mediocre at best.
