How is breastfeeding in public making her an attention whore???? I'm the same age as her and have 2 kids the same age as hers coincidentally and I breastfeed in public if my daughter is in need. Yes I try to cover up, but sometimes my child helps herself before I can grab a coverup. So I totally understand. Breastfeeding is the healthiest thing you can do for your child and can also help comfort a baby. Women should not feel shame for feeding their child, no matter where they are.

unless I got it wrong, he/she is NOT saying that public breastfeeding is wrong.
Nor is the reason why people don't like her posting photos is because they are against breastfeeding.
It's that the OP thinks that alyssa is just using this "right to breastfeed" thing for her own publicity and people are offended at her for doing that (just doing it for the sake of publicity), not because she's posting photos of herself breastfeeding.
I THINK that's what op means and he/she may have a point. Maybe alyssa is indeed doing this for self publicity and not for just merely standing up for her right to post pics of herself breastfeeding (which I think is fine).
If I am right about this, then the rest of you are a bunch of stupid fkheads, cos I clearly understood what the op meant and the rest of you couldn't figure out something so simple. -

I don't think she's desperate for a career. Her clothing line is already making her set for life just like Jessica Simpson. She said she is not earning as much as her, but I will not doubt she's earning respectably in that regard.
Also, she dropped out of her hit TV series because the production is moving to Canada, which she wouldn't do because she can't leave her small children behind.
She seems genuinely happy with where she is right now, to be honest. -

Your comment wasn't hard to understand, which is why I got so annoyed that instead of people commenting on the REAL point, that there were tons and tons of unnecessary comments made by morons who didn't understand.
I thought that someone would at least have enough brains to understand, and if they were to disagree, they would say why the think that she is not doing it for publicity.
As I said, I never really thought much into alyssa's intentions to post pics of herself breastfeeding and then claim she's standing up for her rights.
But now that you mention, it may be possible she's just doing this for her own attention/publicity. -

Actually, negativity towards breastfeeding in public is very real. My sister and friend and I experienced it. It's ridiculous the way some people react. Even my own family, even my mother and mother in law. Good to see celebrities. Speaking out!!!
