Do you ever get to old for romance?

          Two things:

          1. No one is ever too old for romance or romantic roles. Hollywood is just beep up about women and age.
          2. I bet you age like picnic mayonnaise: seemingly fine from afar, but once people get up close and personal with you, you'll make them projectile vomit.

It's not necessary to her to play romantic roles. She is amazing dramatic actress.

Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton still play romantic comedies and they are older than Meg Ryan

there is no point cause she is not playing any romantic roles now.
Besides you can play a romantic role even being over sixty. Life does not end after fourty.
