i'm in Europe and we're slowly recovering from last heatwave. i'm fighting headaches all day (yes i'm drinking like a water mill) and still not sleeping very well. temperatures are gonna rise again by the end of this week, they say. ugh i truly ****ing hate summer with every year more. glad it's over soon.

I was wondering if you guys got fall foliage there. I need to ask my brother if he gets it where he is on the island, however, they usually only stay till end of September then they come back here.
It's pretty warm here. Going to start getting hotter this week. August/September are always are hottest months. -

That must be so much fun going out back and being able to pick fresh fruit in your yard. My pear tree stopped producing fruit a little while back.

My dad planted this tree decades ago. It's still producing pears to this day. What's funny though is that on this very same tree at this time last year, it bore exactly one, and only one pear, the entire season. Imagine my surprise when I saw what it produced this year.

That's really impressive! I thought it might be something unique to where I live, kind of like how my lilacs are always a few weeks behind everyone else's. You have a beautiful harvest of bounty right there. Enjoy!
