Yes. The usual May gray and June gloom carried over into July and August too which is really weird. There have been sunny days too but zero heat waves so far.

Ahh, yes. How could I forget?! Usually the dog is the very first thing I think about.
You're totally right. Walking the dog in the rain isn't pleasant, especially when the poor critters end up coming home with that pungent "wet dog" aroma.

Twelve is great! How is his health?
Does he wear little rain booties too? I used to put booties on one of my dogs in the winter because he had really hairy paws/toes and ice would clump up easily and be painful.
