I totally agree that 'looks like' threads are stupid. What is the point? It gives absolutely no credence to either actor.
But if you're gonna do it, at least do it properly;
In a 'lookalike' assumption, you must post the younger as he/she 'looks like' so-and-so.
The younger one will always be the one who looks like, never the other way aroundbecause
It's the older one who 'looked like' himself/herself first.
So you would say 'you know who looks like him/her'(?), if he/she is older.
And you would say 'you know who he/she looks like'(?), if he/she are younger.
Example
Christian Slater looks like Jack Nicholson.
Class dismissed.
