A couple of months ago Stallone said he was pulling the plug on Rambo V aka Last Blood, because he said he was to old, I think he said this because he felt at the time that he was going to win the Oscar and he get many serious roles offered to him, he didn't win and he hasn't gotten any offers, so I would believe that there's a chance for him to reconsider, he also said he wouldn't be in Expendable IV, but that has changed now to.
I only see him doing Creed II and Last Blood, if you check his future projects on IMDB he doesn't have any, so all the talk about Stallone getting serious films after the Creed nomination didn't happen, so it's back to Rocky and Rambo or action films. -

At the moment Rambo V is dead. But Stallone is known to change his mind so I think there is always at least a chance that he might reconsider. Also him being in Expendables IV is only a rumor at the moment. Right now he's signed on to be part of a TV series and is developing a film for STX.
I'd wait and see what the STX film ends up being before I'd say Stallone is definitely back to doing action films. -

Not sure. It looks like he pulled the plug on Rambo and the expendables. He has other stand alone projects that interesting. I'm intrigued at his 2 organized crime projects. Not to say he's not physically able, but I think some roles closer to his age range wouldn't be a bad idea now. He got eyes noticing him after Creed. I'd like to see him continue to challenge himself, as I know he can.

For what it's worth Stallone has been putting Rambo related photos on his Twitter account every now and then. It could just be him reflecting on the series or it could be hinting that maybe Rambo V isn't quite dead.
