he's saying he wants to do drama and various projects are being talked about but no new news on Expendables 4 for a while.
you can still do an Expendables movie inbetween projects you know, just give us 2 more and you can do your damn dramas from 2020 onwards if you wanna leave action movies behind.
no matter what you won't at your age get great drama work and win awards just cause you did with Creed, I saw it and thought he didn't really deserve it. the performance wasn't that great, perhaps they felt sorry for him.
he could have had EX 4 filmed by now and released in August, he has had a lot of down time which is fine but we should have had one out this August not next. these don't take long to film. -

I agree that he should go back to doing action again. That is what his fans want and need.
But as far as the Expendables go I kind of think the concept has been worn out, sadly.
The excitement of seeing this actor combined with that actor was great up until the third movie. But there's basically nobody left to combine. Just a few people, like Steven Seagal, who doesn't want to do it.
So I think he needs to come up with something really cool, fresh and exciting. Both as a writer, director and an actor. It doesn't have to be far from Expendables or Rambo, but I just feel we need a new approach. -

Sad to say but I think Stallone's big action days are behind him. A few years back, he had like 10 big action projects announced, and they've since all been dropped. Next movies coming up are gritty realistic drama roles, cartoons which he's no stranger to, and the Marvel machine. Expendables 3 may well have been Stallone tapping out.

I follow him on Instagram, he just posts photos of vacations and his 3 daughters.
looks like he has had quite a long break between projects.
he wants to do Creed 2 but with Jordan working on other stuff he might as well get EX4 together.
I really want to see it released next year, or 2018 at the latest. I hate long breaks between sequels. especially when they have been doing them every 2 years.

Yea Sly better start filming EX4 coz this is one good chance for him to say goodbye to Actioninfact he can make it special one
There are news that hes playing mob boss omerta and some STX entertainment crime drama and stuff like that but no idea whens he gonna start filming them!!!
Dunno what sly is upto hes unpredictable!!

I read about it too. Considering his age Expendables IV could be his final all out action movie. I would expect he'll still be doing the mob film Idol's Eye first and then spend the second half of 2017 filming Expendables IV.
