I know it comes down to two films with most people, but I have to go with Basic Instinct. Her ice cool portrayal had such an impact at the time of release.
That
interrogation scene is the clincher.
I reviewed Basic Instinct, for anyone who may be interested.
NO
spoilers.

The Quick and the Dead.
For a film who's two male supporting leads have gone on to become massive superstars (DiCaprio and Crowe) it's a miracle that it's still a relatively forgotten 1990s gem. And Stone herself is brilliant in it.

Casino. Much more demanding then her role in Basic Instinct.
The Quick and the Dead her best performance? You got to be kidding. A totally undemanding role which any halfway competent and pret1c84ty actress could have done just as well.

She was very good in the Sphere. it wasn't a good movie that's why people don't talk about it.
She was very one-dimensional in Basic Instinct. She was adequate in Casino. in Sphere she really transfigured herself. -

Casino, she portrayed Ginger as a person who you knew wasn't mentally stable, and at points you hated her, but simultaneously you couldn't keep yourself from caring for her. Maybe that's because of Scorsese, the screenwriter or De Niro, but I think she rode a nice balance.
