I'm older than Kirstie was and have avoided cancer through another cult…the Graviola/Annona Muricata cult. I had a basal cell carcinoma removed earlier this year. It was not serious and had not grown in the years since I started taking the supplement. Some naturopaths believe it to be thirty times as effective as chemo.

This is certainly sad news. She was a very good actress. She could do comedy or drama equally well.
While I enjoyed watching her as Rebecca on Cheers, I highly recommend watching her in the 1985 TV movie, A Bunny's Tale. She portrayed Gloria Steinem, who took an undercover assignment as a Playboy Bunny for a magazine story in the early 60s.
My absolute favorite is her role as Virgillia Hazzard in the TV mini series, North and South.
