    And I am straight. And I think the "fat" comments on here are shameful. Glad to see some "hot" and "beautiful" comments too though.
    I remember reading a magazine article years ago when she was very overweight, and overeating a lot. It also said that John Travolta, as her friend, was worried about her health. He didn't slag her off or belittle her, he was concerned.
    That is the smart,mature reaction to such a situation. Yes she needed to lose weight. But she had gone through a divorce and was left alone with her kids. She was probably depressed.
    Hard times, trauma and mental illness affect people differently. Some people overeat. Some people undereat. Some people isolate themselves, others rebel etc. It is not for us to judge.
    As for her "legacy", she has achieved a lot more than just " getting fat". What about her career? She was the perfect Mollie in the Look Who's Talking trilogy, for example. And she looked after John Travolta's other kids when his wife gave birth to another. She's not a bad person.

      The "Look Who's Talking" movies are my favorite movies of hers.
