She was dating Toto bassist Steve Pacaro (Not Jeff like it says in Imdb) but the song was written by Keyboardist David Paich. When confronted with the question, Paich Replied that "it was just coincidence" that a band member was dating Rosanna Arquette when he wrote the song.
