What was the defense for real? I didn't follow it.
If I hand you a loaded gun, from my hands to yours, and promise you it's unloaded, and then you shoot someone with it, that's 100% on you, not me. Maybe they showed the armorer didn't do their due diligence in training the cast on gun-handling etiquette. Any time you touch a firearm you check the condition. Togglable safety, cartridge in the chamber, loaded mag, etc. I'm assuming they were supposed to be blanks and you could argue someone unfamiliar with firearms wouldn't know how to check what type of ammo it was. She obviously ****ed up bad somewhere but when you're holding the gun it's your responsibility.
