I can't wait to see all of them! I like Costas Mandylor so I'm looking forward to Sinners & saints since he and Berenger are in them. I think Last Will is also going to be good except I don't care for Tatum O'Neal.
All of these are post, I wonder if he has any pre-production in the works?
Are you an Elvis fan? -

Yes, loved Elvis. I have lived in Nashville,TN my whole life. I met him twice and my best friend of 24 yrs is his 4th cousin. It was very surreal seeing him up close and talking to him. He was so good looking it was sinful..I haven't met Berenger but I'm sure that would be a surreal moment for me bec I have loved him for 26 yrs. I would know him anywhere, his eyes, his lips, his walk, his hairand I don't care how he looks today he is still the man. I just want to see him healthy and happy. He made an appearance last spring in SC and I didn't find out about it or I would have went, its not that far from TN.

Oh my lord, you've actually seen Elvis up close and TALKED to him? That's awesome. [jealous]
I also wish the very best for Tom. I don't have your 26 years of being a fan but I do care about him and his career.
Speaking of seeing stars in real life, I'm going to a Kevin Costner consert in February.
He's finally coming to Sweden! Do you like Costner?

Yes, I like Costner esp in For the love of the Game. He's not Berenger but I do like him. I also liked his westerns. I'm glad your going to get to see him you sound very excited.
Yes, Elvis was two great times for me. I don't have words to tell you how handsome he was! I also met and talked at length with Neil Diamond in a club here in Nashville, like him but he's no Berenger either. Can anyone tell I love Berenger!!! I'd walk over 10 Brad Pitts and 20 Tom Cruise's to get to one Berenger. -

Lets keep our fingers crossed for "Inception"
DiCaprio is always good for box office draw (as is Nolan).
Hopefully this will bring Berenger back to the graces of Hollywood (A-List) directors.
I'd love to see more of his films at the theater. -

Yes, wouldn't that be wonderful. I would love to see Berenger doing some A-list for a change. I love him no matter what and think he is very underrated.
I'm like you I would like to see him in the theaters.
I really loved Oct Rd only bec of him and I thought Peacemakers was a great show and sorry to see that one go. We need a good clean cowboy series every week.
However no one pulls off the kissing scenes like Berenger!!!!!! -
terrible2 — 16 years ago(December 28, 2009 06:58 AM)
I agree Peacemakers was a good show. I have several episodes recorded on VHS tapes. It's nice to sit down a watch a couple episode111cs in a row.
I did enjoy October Road (for the same reason: Berenger). Never seemed to be enough of his character though. I did buy the complete 2nd season on DVD - just to see how it all ended (SPOILER: they killed him off).
There is a cool "Behind the Scenes" feature, which has Berenger take you around the set and show you the "Commander's house".
He has some funny moments talking about how the prop-guy was putting doilys under the beer bottles in the fridge (to keep them from clanking together) and how he felt that it was very un-manly - Funny stuff!!!! -

I tried to watch Peacemakers on Hulu but its choppy and I can't seem to get it fixed(supposedly its a windows issue but I can watch everything else with no trouble). I hope they will put it out on DVD. I love his look in that.
Without Berenger I would have never given Oct Rd a second look. I so agree not enough of his character! I did rent it from Netflix and saw the Behind the Scenes, it was so funny. I just love him. He's just always himself. I loved it when Sam gave him the cowboy hat and he put it on. I melted, it just fits who he is. He seems like such a mans man in real life.
I have a ? in Cruel and Unusual, if you saw it did you think in the end the woman coming out of the store is his wife. She wasn't in the credits. -
terrible2 — 16 years ago(December 28, 2009 10:34 AM)
I hadn't heard that, but I suppose it's possible. Cruel & Unusual was filmed close to where they live in Canada (decent thriller by the way).
I know she's worked as producer on a couple of his 5b4films, though she is not listed on this one
Would be interesting to find out. -
jewmadd — 16 years ago(December 28, 2009 12:37 PM)
I've seen several pics of her and it really looks like her and I thought it odd who ever she is she didn't get any credit for that scene. I really liked this movie and bought it.
I wish more of his would be released in blu-ray, like Last of the Dogmen.
I read probably one month ago that his house in SC is up for sale and it says this comes "on the tail end of his split from his 3rd wife. Thats the only place I read that. Has anyone else heard this? I will look up what it was on if anyone is interested. He keeps a very low profile it seems.
I did not realize so many movies with beautiful scenery were filmed in Canada. I've never been there but I guess I didn't pay attention to that stuff before. It is beautiful and I guess he has a home there bec of that.
Have you seen him in person? Someone put on twitter they almost ran into him in Walmart recently and I thought I'd like to run into him. literally!!! -

Jewmadd, I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere too - it sounds like we may have read the same article as it was about his SC house being up for sale. I also read it on whosdatedwho.com - some poster commented that he was divorced from his third wife. He does keep a very low profile, and he just doesn't seem like the type of person to discuss his private life.
Sooo. . . does this mean he's on the market again? Heh heh heh. . . -
jewmadd — 16 years ago(December 29, 2009 07:27 AM)
Irez30, I doubt he'll be on the market long. If I were available I'd take him in a heartbeat. He's 7 yrs older than me so I'm the right age(not considering his 3rd wife was 23 yrs his junior).
Where was the post about he was divorced? I missed that one. I'll look up where I read that article and get back on that.
I may be wrong but from everything I've read about him and people that meet him he's a pretty down to earth guy thats not caught up in himself. I think thats one of the things that makes him so desirable. I read he drives a Van bec he's so practical.
I've seen lots of celebrities mostly in music and I am never star struck but I think if I got to meet Berenger it would be all over!!! -

That info and pics of Berenger's SC home for sale is on celebritydetective.com.

I'm sure you're right about him not being on the market for long lol. I'm 34, but I wouldn't kick him out if ya know what I mean! The first film I can remember seeing him in was "Body Language" - fairly standard made-for-TV "Body Heat" rip-off, but Berenger was smokin'! ~owwww~
Here's a link to the post about him being divorced - it's his page on whosdatedwho.com - scroll down to the most recent comment.

Well your a little younger than his 3rd wife! I don't think age is a big issue unless its alot of years. Whats important and what you enjoy changes with age and being compatible in those areas is important. I suspect age could have played a role in the demise of their relationship. I hope the best for both of them. I went on that website and ask where they got their info. Just curious bec I keep up with anything I can find on him. If he does remarry I hope he gets one to old to have anymore kids, 6 is enough!
I own Body Language(purrrrrr). I love that movie just for Berenger. Heidi Schanz or whatever her name is looks like a big snake. I don't find her attractive at all. When she's sitting in his lap in the kitchen, is that not the best kissing on his part you've ever seen? In my opinion Michael Pare' does the best simulated sex scenes and Berenger does the best kissing scenes hands down!!! -

Here's a link to the article:
http://www.celebritydetective.com/aerial/tom_berenger2.html
It says he put the on sale after his recent seperation, but if you read his 2007 acticle from the cigar mag, he stated (then) that they had put the house on the market because they didn't spend enough time in SC anymore
Besides the (celebritydetective( post and a comment on (whosdatedwho), I have not read anything about him being seperated from Trish.
I wonder how much truth there is to all this? -
jewmadd — 16 years ago(December 30, 2009 07:13 AM)
You sound like me and we read everything on him. I don't have any more info than whats been put on here. I haven't got a response to my ? as to where the poster on whosdatedwho got their info. Guess time will tell. I bet he loves the fact that his every move is not tracked like Brad and Angelina. I would hate that to. So I wonder if he's living in NY, I think he put that in an article that it was his fav place to live.
Sounds like the house has been on the market 2 yrs.
I can't wait for his 2 movies to come out in Jan!!!
