Yeah, that's kind of funny, too, since that was always the explanation offered when people questioned the wisdom of including that topless shot: "But her parents approved it and were present during the shooting!"

I've known this for a long-time. Robin Bougie of Canada's "Cinema Sewer" and some other people broke the story ten years ago.
The problem is people go from THAT to assuming all kinds of other stupid crap. Her parents may have been retired porn stars, but that doesn't mean they molested her then or now. Her dad probably played some part in her career going south, but people no doubt greatly exaggerate his role when they hear the "porn star" stuff. What percentage of actors who get their start as children or teens actually go on to be big Hollywood stars like Scarlett Johanssen or Natalie Portman? Do ALL of those actors have porn star parents who molested them and ruined their career? Thora Birch is really the "rule" when it comes to child and teen actors, and Johanssen and Portman are the exceptions.
Of course, 2000this bullsh!t scandal stuff MIGHT BE true, but you shouldn't just assume things. -
