how is it racist, to name someone of germanic/scandinavian heritage, after a norse deity? its part of the history/culture for whoever's grown up with it. its like saying that catholics aren't allowed to call their daughters maria ::) completely ridiculous claim

It's actually a sort of common name here in Iceland (with a different spelling, though) and I think it's alright. But it's sort of cool that there's a non-Icelandic person with this name.
