She's not gay or bisexual. She actually dated Rick Springfield, Rick James, and several other well known rock stars when se was popular during the 70s and 80s. Many people were not aware of the fact that Linda Blair grew up in a home were her parents begin to constantly argue for years before they decided to divorce. So that is the primary reason that Ms. Blair has never married. She stated in many interviews, including one that aired on the Biography network, that her childhood was very unhappy due to her parents separation. As a result, she said that her parents' failed marriage affected her significantly to where she is too apprehensive now to risk marriage since half of all these unions end in divorce. Instead she has won several awards for being a devoted animal rights advocate for over 20 years, which is how she invests the majority of her time. When she was young, she used to leave the house and spend time with animals because they provided her comfort while her parents were disagreeing back in the house. As a result, she feels more comfortable around animals than being around most human beings.

What does dating men have to do with being bisexual. That is what the term 'bisexual' means.
..are you Linda? -

Linda is not gay. While she appreciates some of her gay friends- it should be noted that she is not gay friendly due to a her crush on a guy who turned out to be gay. It ruined her in many ways and drove a major wedge between her and the gay community. Its a pity because had she played to that audience she would not be so dead dead dead at the box office.

I think that if Linda Blair was into girls she would have had some lesbian scenes in a movie. Especially the shower scene where she played a prisoner and there was a shower scene where her and a group of other girls were naked. A girl prisoner came up to her and flirted with her. Still there was no kissing, or boob touching in that scene. Had she been lesbian or bi sexual, I'm sure she would have kissed her or felt her up.

That's dumb.
She went by what the script called for, not act out her real-life sexuality on film. It doesn't mean she is not gay, but the shower-scene film has no bearing on it. -

"It's a pity because had she played to that audience she would not be so dead, dead, dead,at the box office". Sorry to say this but,not all hollywood types like to play according to audience expectations, nor do they (actors, actresses)care what audiences think, all they care is what they do and ofcourse THE BIG CHECK that comes from their career, which happeneds to come from the job they happened to joyed it!!!

ha ha, you speak as if you know something no one else does. She is dead at the box office simply because earlier in her career, she no longer was offered parts other than the low grade B sort. Part of her 'death' in the box office was because she was stereotyped into the horror film genre and once you are there, it's hard to break out. Jamie Lee Curtis was lucky she broke out of that mold. I've never heard Linda Blair say one bad thing about the GLBT community and until she does, I don't think anyone can hold what you're saying as the truth.
I think she's the saddest girl ever to hold a martini. -

No she isn't gayat least that's what her girlfriend told me. See how ludicrous that statement is? Nearly as ludicrous as this morbid curiosity about sexual orientation that is a constant thread on this site. Who cares? If you enjoy someone's work and they aren't bad people off screen then why does this even enter some people's minds? I don't get itand please spare me the tripe about curiosity.

the the response of my statement on her not doing any lesbian scenes in movies ok let me rephrase it with this question.
If she was a lesbian or bi sexual, why WOULDN'T she have taken on roles where her character kissed or felt up another girl? Especially in scenes where there's PLENTY of room for it? -

'If she was a lesbian or bi sexual, why WOULDN'T she have taken on roles where her character kissed or felt up another girl? Especially in scenes where there's PLENTY of room for it?'
Because the actor is not the person.
For the same reason a heterosexual actor would not engage in sex in a film just to get some play.
Are people really this stupid?
The kind of thread that gets forums running and the fans in a frenzy.
