Brian HAS played Pavarotti, and even sange, terrificly, and Luiciano himself praised his preformance! So, if they ever make a movie about Pavarotti, who is more perfect for the part than Brian "The Yeti" Blessed, one of the greatest actors of our time.

John Rhys-Davies would also make an awesome Pavarotti, I mean they even had Will Sasso joke about it on "Sliders"

I can appreciate your observations for the physical aspects of having him play Luciano, but vocally,it's all wrong.Luciano was a tenor, and Brian is a Bass-Baritone(if not an actual Bass.)

Sorry for this but you are totaly wrong. "Brian Blessed" is most definitly a tenor, as proved by his performance in the london cast of "cats". He has also already won "stars in there eyes" as "Pavarotti". He is no where near Bass-Baritone. I personaly think he would be a good choice to play the part.
