overrated.
The Producers: that's it.
If you play it like it's FUNNY it no longer is, since you're being brave, and getting laughs from the easily impressed. It amounts to telling a ha-ha joke while he nudges a cane in your side. Very Chosen way of doing it. -

Still much better than the so-called comedians of our age, i.e. Adam Sandler, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Seth Rogen, Seth Green, Rob Schneider etc. who "play one joke for 50 movies and see if it lucks out".
Mel Brooks was a hit-and-miss kind of moviemaker, and he never claimed otherwise. But at least, even the worst of his films still generated more laughs than the whole filmographies of th5b4e above names put together.
You know how to impress the easily impressed? Go to the imdb board of a much loved film/director/actor and start a topic saying he's "overrated."
Never be complete. -

He started out dirt poor in life, losing his father very young and never having anything. He is now one of the most important comical actors, writers and singers the entertainment industry has ever seen. And NO ONE helped him. He did it all on his own, thru sheer guts and determination. What do YOU do? I'm guessing call center.
