I am curios if any of you has met David Cronenberg. I could not find any fan photos with him. Is he not nice with his fans? Is he a very private person? Ps: If you have a fan photo or a story with Mel don't hesitate to share it here or on our fan photo site

I had met David on several occasions in the summer of 1989. I knew David from his hobby which was auto racing. I used to work for his former brother in law as a race mechanic. I was a guest of his brother in law in a charming old farmhouse on the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario. David was also a guest there as well when he was racing at Shannonville race track outside of Belleville.
At the race track David was gracious about talking to fans and signing autographs. I dont recall having seen him take a photo with anyone but dont recall anyone asking him to either. He is quiet and perhaps a bit shy at first but not a private person that I could tell. In a private setting he is quite outgoing and friendly. He and I mostly discussed cars and racing as it is a common passion for us both.
