Agree with everything you said. I find them both charming and talented (5 years or so ago, Id have said that Depp was in more good films, but thats changed drastically). I also think Depp has a delicacy and femininity that Curry doesnt, which makes him better for playing shy and/or eccentric characters (Im namely th1c84inking of Sleepy Hollow, Pirates, and Wonka); Curry has a more menacing air. In general, I have trouble buying Depp as a villain (
excepting Secret Window
) and Curry as a hero. -

Do you hate Tim Curry or something? Why are you always bad mouthing him in threads?
Oh and Johnny Depp is starting to suck! He has been in bomb after bomb lately because it's all about money with him. -

I don't hate TC absolutely, I just try to be objective and not obesessed with him.
I was a BIG fan of him in the past years, but now I am much less, I can be more objective in judgements,b68 something difficult for a fan who is fallen in love with a star. -

So, maybe I've changed and maybe his career is not so interesting anymore, since many years he had his "silver age" in the 90s (for me his golden age is RHPS) but now almost only cartoons or mostly forgettable movies I got tired, yawn
BAD CGI RUINS MOVIES!!! -

I never thought that the day would come where I would actually find that sleazy concierge from Home Alone 2 sexy in Bowie-esque makeup, fishnet and high heels.
It's kinda sad that he got involved in mostly bad movies, despite his talent but I guess he thinks of himself mainly a stage actor, rather than a film star (akin to Paul Scofield).
