I think Matt is the stronger actor and Matt has made a lot better films than Ben has. I really don't know what Ben is famous for other than his relationship with Jennifer Lopez.

Afflack became famous for helping Matt Damon write the screenplay for Good Will Hunting, although it’s unknown how much was written between them. Damon came up with the main idea and wrote the first draft at Harvard, it’s possible Affleck just tagged along with his own minor suggestions

Damon's been is far more classic movies than Affleck. (Not counting movies they were in together) Dude was in Saving Private Ryan, the first three Bourne movies, the first Ocean's movie, The Martian, Interstellar, True Grit, and Ford v. Ferrari. Affleck just has The Town, Argo, and… I guess that's it.
