TNG or DS9?

He was more "Klingon" on Ds9 and mostly did not have to apologize for it. No Deanna Troi or Dr. Crusher trying to tame the "big, bad Worf". He still had to compromise on Ds9, but he was Klingon all the way while doing it.

True he got to explore his Klingon side more on DS9 but he was too serious. Not as loveable as he was on TNG. He was funny also on TNG. Everything from his Sheriff Worf to temporary Exile of Qo'nos times he was more likeable. Like everything people had to be scared of him and I hated that about him and he was too unbeatable too. Then when Jadzia died, he got even worse. So to me, it's TNG all the way when it comes to worf. Actually I wish he never came on board DS9 as a full-time character.

TNG all the way. It doesn't help that DS9 sucked compared to TNG. I found Worf to be a far more lovable character in TNG. In DS9 he was just the typical grumpy typecast Klingon. I wonder which one he liked more.

You're on crack if you think DS9 sucked comapred to TNG, TNG was just a continuation of basically where TOS left off, planet of the week, everything solved by the end of each episode everyone went on happily ever after.
If it wasn't for DS9, we probably would've never had the excellent Battlestar Galactica series, since DS9 is where Ronald D. Moore was able to flex his muscles on and write some damned good entertaining episodes. -

Ha! That is why I liked TNG so much. The story ended at the end of the show. It didn't drag on and on. Galactica has its OK episodes, but again, to much of a soap opera for my liking. I can turn on As the World Turns for that. In DS9 I was just waiting for the episode where O'Brien and Bashir confessed their undying love for each other. TNG FTW!

Oh yes it did. With a few exceptions (like the classic finale, "All Good Things.."), The Next Generation's first and last seasons are a slog to sit through. It wasn't until midway through the second season with "Measure of a Man" (the one where they have a trial to determine Data's rights) that the show was headed into the right direction. Sure Deep Space Nine's first two seasons (especially the first few episodes) have their ups and downs, but they still have enough solid writing and character development to stand above the lesser seasons of TNG. -

The reason TNG is better than DS9 is because it did, in fact, pick up where TOS left off.
The name of the show is Star Trek after all
Battlestar Galactica - saw one episode - and some big-bellied white guy was getting ready to anally rape a little Asian girl never watched it again. But I do know that the show has no African-American characters (unlike the 70s original), had a lesbian villainous (just like Moore's Mirror-Kira on DS9) an238d has a female version of Starbuck that acts like a homophobe's cliche of a lesbian while being little more than a mean-spirited b*tch
If that's Ron Moore's idea of good sci-fi, I'll stick with TNG, Stargate, and Doctor Who ! -

Nope, I stick to my opinion, "Mr. Garak". I'd even puddle through conversations debating on this over lunch in the replimat if I had to, but Worf we got to see so many more sides of in TNG. DS9 he was way too serious and angry. Too many people feared him. He had that "Don't beep with me attitude and presence" which totally drew the interest out of his character for me. On the Enterprise, he was kept in check. Was funny at times. Interesting. Showed different sides than just that stupid side he always showed in DS9. Stick to your opinion. Respect mine. Thanks.

We do see funny sides of him on DS9; see the episode where he tries to play baseball with the crew, the bit where he and Dax have sex and disgust Bashir, when he attempts to flirt with the Klingon woman (who's with Quark) and the scene where he's yelling about Klingon opera only to piss off Quark ("what is that infernal racket?").
I'm going to agree with the other posters saying that he was given more to do on DS9 and fit in better with the aliens and various creatures there than on TNG. -

hey all, just a reminder- there was a war going on when Worf was at DS9 (reason for the transfer as I recall) Wars tends to make things a little gritter, more coarse. I liked the DS9 Worf better he was more "Klingon" as he should've been in TNG. Oh by the way a Dominion soldier almost beat Worf to death in one episode. DS9 Worf in my opinion guys

Although I consider DS9 the best Star Trek spin-off, I have to say TNG.
In fact, I always liked Worf in TNG, despite Klingons not really being my favourites. But on DS9, I began to dislike the character.
