underrated..

Michael Dorn is very much underated, he is a fantastic actor and his voice is very distinct. I'm not really a star trek fan, although my girlfriend Sara is, and Worf was alwats one of the best. He always played either serious role but always with some comedy tones.
I'm a big fan of his and I really hope we can see him in a lot more movies and tv shows.

I was just thinking how underrated he is when I noticed this thread. His portrayal of Worf is one of Star Trek's true high points. In TNG and DS9 he shined and provided us with, in my opinion, one of the best TV/Movie characters of all time. It is fortunate for us that the producers and writers of Star Trek were prepared to invest in the Worf character. As a result, I feel I know at least as much about him, as I do Kirk, Spock, Picard and Data. Unfortunately, along with most of the TNG cast, he was underused in the last couple of movies - one of the many reasons they lack appeal.

Picard, Data, and Worf are by far my three favorite characters on TNG. Michael Dorn was perfect for the part. I love his voice and all of his voice over work.

Data'a appeal always eluded me. I liked Picard, Riker and Worf.
Worf's character was developed so much more in DS9 that I prefer him in that.
His episodes with Jadzia were excellent : The Little Ship, Looking for Parmach etc and By Infernos Light where he had to fight a succession of Jem' Hadar warriors.
That was so macho!
Far beyond the Stars where he plays a baseball player and we see him without make-up was another great episode. -

I was sur111cprised at the lentgh of his resume because I dont really recall seeing him in much. That said, he is a very likeable & talented actorI think he needs a better agent because he deserves larger roles.
