haha figuresthe exact time minnie driver asks to use your phone you really cant hang up. that sounds like life. haha bummers.
well i met her when i was 12 or 13 in 2001. my dad and i went to starbucks in my hometown in hawaii. she was standing right there and playing with this little baby, just cooing and tickling her. i was staring at her (as little kids do when they dont know what else to b68with themselves.) she was standing right in front of us and i was trying to whisper "dad is that minnie driver?" but i guess my whisper was a little louder than it was supposed to be. he nodded yes and of course i was fascinated (our family had watched return to me countless times and i loved that movie) anyway we walked outside at the same time and i went up to her and asked if she was minnie driver. she sweetly replied yes and i told her how much we enjoyed her movies and she said thanks and that i was very kind for saying so. i told her to have fun in hawaii and then we said bye.
although it was a short conversation i never forgot it. she didnt seem rushed or anything, she probably would've talk to me longer if i thought of something to say. super down to earth.
hands down, nicest famous person i've ever met! she should hold a star etiquette class for her co workers. im sure not all of them are as fan friendly as she is -

I met her a few years back after her set at Austin's SXSW. She was incredibly nice. She was just hanging out at the bar chatting with people. I said my simple "hello" and "great set". She is very beautiful in person and very down to earth.
