One thing that bothers me about your post. I assume you've had friends and relatives who have died. That great people who have died can't be brought up when talking about lovely women makes me think I'm talking to a somewhat shallow person.
I'm not a woman much less Deanna Durbin, but the old-time glam-shot appeals to me. -

I have absolutely nothing against KD, and she is a lovely woman. But I still say when I saw the perfume billboard in Spiderman, I really don't think a perfumery would use her as a model, especially when she isn't much of a celebrity in the movie.
But of course, she's lovely.

I personally think she's VERY pretty, I think she's prettier than a lot of actresses who are supposedly "very attractive"..my sole reason for watching Spiderman in the cinema years back, was purely because I thought she looked lush.

Funny, I saw the beginning of Spidey 2 and there's a billboard of her for perfume.
I immediately thought, she's pretty, of course, but not THAT pretty.
Heck, my dental hygienist is just as pretty. But I have nothing but fondness and respect for Ms Dunst. Especially if she's not married, haha.

Pretty is subjective. Like everything else that's a matter of personal taste. This entire thread should be considered an insult to everyone's intelligence.
