In answer to your questions, I had a friend working at ABC who said ABC Daytime was curious to meet with Morgan about soap work in the early to mid-2000's. I don't know that the meeting ever happened; if it did, obviously nothing came of it
I don't know if her A&E Bio is available. I have a copy of it taped off TV when it aired in 2000. It might be available on A&E's website or there used to be a Biography magazine website that sold ep's of A&E Biography.
What I said about her resisting the daily grind of soap work was just a theory. I don't have first hand knowledge of that It's just that she's such a natural fit for daytime drama, I can't imagine why she would prefer to do all the small (probably low-paying) indie films she does & TV show cameos. Why would she not rather be a soap icon instead of having smaller movie & TV jobs here & there? It's a mystery to me. I am just theorizing that she has already done daytime twice (Search for Tomorrow & The City) and it is fairly grueling & perhaps she doesn't want to repeat herself.
If I were able to place a bet, I would bet that at some point she will do daytime as a regular again - she's just such a natural fit for it!

This woman gives me the impression that she's in love with herself, with each and every glance, movement and look she shows it.
I'm just being honest; sorry to offend the fans here. It's just written all over her that I can cut with a knife. But why?
Some people are raised to feel that way, regardless of whether they enter show-biz.

Don't apologize for your feelings about her. I like her a lot and am a big fan but I notice she hypes her intelligence a lot and says she's Barbie with a brain or whatever.

There are woman who are sexy without doing anything.
I have this actress -friend who used to 'act' sexy. I told her to "do nothing", because she was sexy just standing there without saying anything. Don't think she ever got it.
Look at the reciprocal; does an actor need to act sexy to be sexy?

No. I think when an actor or even an average person tries to "act" sexy it doesn't look sexy. I include Morgan in that trying to act sexy category. It's trying too hard and having the opposite affect but I guess to a lot of men i've met they wouldn't care unless they are a bit choosier and like a more natural and subtle woman.

Maybe that's why Liz Taylor was that unique star; her sexiness came through in a down to earth way.

I think with Liz it was her111c beauty and charisma. I always felt Ava Gardner didn't try too hard to be sexy and was very natural and I felt that with Lana Turner whereas with Marilyn Monroe, who I adore, I felt was always trying to seem sexy. Who do you think was a better actress Liz or Ava?

That's interesting,I felt Ava seem to push her sexuality, even in still photographs. Something about her eyes that were too obvious. Liz could be completely neutral with a blank stare and still be sexy. I have't seen Ava'a films, but I hear she was well-respected, except for Earthquake, where I thought she was mediocre(naturally, that would be the one film I recall her from)

1.) She seems pretty busy judging by her IMDB.
2.) She's also been a board member for SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) on and off for some time now. She even ran for President at one point, but lost. I imagine that takes time from her schedule.
3.) Morgan Fairchild has created a very distinct persona. In just about everything she has appeared in, it feels as though she's that persona. This is both a good & bad thing.
A.) THE BAD: As an actress, it doesn't give her any flexibility. That lack of flexibility will cause her not to book roles outside of her persona that she embodies.
B.) THE GOOD: That persona makes Fairchild memorable. The acting field is crowded and it's easy to be forgotten about. There's lot of good actors/actresses, but unless you have something that makes you stand out, you're a dime a dozen. If you notice, Fairchild always has some kind of resurgence just when it looks like she's down. She's almost had as many lives as a cat in the acting field and that's rare.
