But is SHE aware of why?
As I mentioned, she said on a talk show "I'm just as good as anyone out there", when referring to why she doesn't get booked more. Way too self-confident.
She tried to go plain/earthy in that Willie Nelson film, but that didnt' work either

I have a feeling she thinks she's underrated. I've seen interviews where she's said she should be playing doctors and lawyers, but she only gets glamorous parts because of her cheekbones and nose. That's obviously not the only reason since she has gotten non glamorous roles- the Willie Nelson film you mentioned and a role as a nun in a film called Gospa- but she's obviously not impressive enough as an actress to keep getting those types of roles. Morgan's about as good as Susan Lucci

'but she only gets glamorous parts because of her cheekbones and nose.'

        hehe
Would anybody with modesty even say that?
Too bad she doesn't know that her nose moves when she speaks like a rabbit (a possible result of a nose-job, and the connective tissue)

Sybil Danning & Pam Grier, didn't seem to have a problem. getting hardcore female roles early on, but morgan seems to have no such luck?

I think there's is big difference between the 2 above women. Grier is known for being an excellent actress and has been in major filmsand was good enough to show warmth if needed. Danning?

ok, ok I agree with pam grier, but Sybil danning is a B-Movie actress. so she is not going to be on that level and it shows. so point taken?

The other factor is that Morgan is not going to take a film containing softcore, or a slasher. She probably gets offers, but declines.

You have to be confident to make it in any profession. Certainly you can't make it in a cutthroat competitive world like Hollywood without being confident & even verbalizing your confidence. Thousands and thousands of people move to L.A. & never get so much as a commercial. Morgan has had a thriving career for 40 years & has figured out how to keep working even in her 60's! People are surprised she's got confidence & says so???

Her looks, figure and voice gave her good screen presence, but her acting early on was pretty wooden to average now. She relies too much on her looks and even the audience (males..) can't get past her beauty (curse..)
                      wat are you lookin' at
