Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. I'm sure it will be deleted soon.

Unless she developed it recentlyShe made her fair share of physically demanding movies, and with a life threatening heart condition insurance companies won't even let you near the set.

When did she deveop this condition? I'm assuming it was after her last film she did since it was not have made sense for previous insurance companies to put out money on her.

A lot of people are born with this condition. most don't ever have it discovered until something happens. It isn't something that just pop's up in a physical or something. A NHL player for the Pittsburgh Penguins was just diagnosed with it. I assure you his life was quite active until now and he was certainly insured.

Here's an interview from 1993. The condition doesn't have anything to do with her "retirement".
Q: There's a quote of yours which attracted media attention: You said you hated aerobics and political protests. The press felt you were taking a direct jab at Jane.
A: I never said that I hated political protests, but it's true about aerobics.
Q: Is that because you have a hole in your heart?
A: I have a hole in my heart, which is a fairly common heart murmur, but it doesn't stop me from doing 5b4anything. It basically means that I have to take antibiotics when I have my teeth cleaned or any kind of surgery because there's a possibility that the bacteria will lodge itself within that hole. So in that way it's serious, but you only have to be medicated.
Q: How did you find out about it?
A: I have a third heartbeat. It's like boom, boom, shhh. The doctors knew it from the time I was very small. I went to UCLA every four years and had heart tests.
Q: Did that give you a sense of your own fragility?
A: No, because I was always told that it wouldn't stop me from doing anything that I wanted to do.

Probably cordell, but being a Fonda, she'll reappear. Most actors complain that movie making is a tedious and boring process, esp. larger budget films with 4 to 6 month shooting schedules. Wanting to do something else is understandable, but I'd like to see her back.

So she has to be oppressed to NOT want to be on the hollywood spotlight? Please. With her family connections she doesn't need the money. And about the tiny hole in the heart condition, I don't think you develop it, I think you're born with it (this girl in my grade died from that condition at 14, she was really sporty, maybe that was the stress factor?) and she's had a plentiful film career. Too bad, I'd rather have one Bridget Fonda on screen than 100 Megan Foxes.

IMDB says she recently was in a reality tv show called Battleground Earth: Ludacris vs. Tommy Lee. I did some searching on the internet and IMDB is the only site that states this. Other sites tell me that Jane Fonda is indeed in this show, but they never say anything about Bridget, so my guess is that IMDB has the wrong information. I could be wrong though, so if anyone is able to see this show, then please tell if Bridget is in it or not.

I just watched Peter Fonda in "The Passion of Ayn Rand" and it made me think of her and how great she was in "A Simple Plan" and "Jackie Brown"come to think of it, she was good in "Scandal", too. I'd rather see her in a movie than Kate Hudson or Katherine Heigl any day! Please, please, come back

I watched an interview she gave about 2 years ago and she pointed out that she was now 40 something and she could no longer play the 20 year old virgin any more and she is happy with her lifewhere she can do what she wants and eat what she likes without having a producer tell her "she looks fat"
