I guess when your name is Fonda you don't have to worry about living pay check to pay check.
Too bad, really. I rather liked The Snow Queen.
And by retiring while you still have your looks, your career can always be considered shallow and a result of eye candy rather than depth of talent.

I sincerely doubt that she retired for the "reasons" you stated. But then, her reasons are her business and not ours.
